An assessment was conducted of the overall environmental noise emission from the  Gas Fired Power Station operations at West Angelas Mine. This included the impact from the power stations onto surrounding sensitive areas as well as an assessment of occupational noise levels to which the workforce may be exposed to.
It included monitoring and forecasting of noise emissions, especially during typically adverse weather conditions.
