Director
Martti has 30 years’ experience as a professional acoustic consultant. He has specific skills in architectural acoustics and environmental noise control across his home state, as well as in Queensland and New South Wales.
Martti’s key strength is an understanding of noise at all stages of a project; from initial concept through to completed construction. His expertise spans building partitions, internal acoustics, external noise intrusion and environmental noise stemming from industry and from linear infrastructure.
This has seen him heavily involved in a wide range of building projects from the hotel, commercial, residential, education, health and defence facilities, through to road, rail, aircraft and marine noise, as well as industrial and mining noise and vibration assignments.
As a regular advocate for the profession, he has contributed to numerous publications and technical papers, has lectured in acoustics the university and delivered papers at seminars.
Principal Acoustical Engineer
James has over 10 years’ experience in the field of Acoustic Engineering, covering various issues in environmental noise and architectural acoustics. He started his career at a consultancy in Perth in 2011 before joining Reverberate in 2015.
James has recently taken 18 months away from Perth to work as an acoustical engineer in Canada, returning to Reverberate in late 2020.
His qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and he is a Member of the Australian Acoustical Society (MAAS). The topic of his PhD dissertation relates to the prediction of noise intrusion into buildings.
